Month of June

Well, it is time for another blog post!! We have been doing very well lately! I am definitely settling into this new role of homemaker while hubby goes to work! I am starting to get organized and I have a pretty stiff routine. Even though the babies weren't ready for it, they are now down to one nap a day which gives me more time to play with them in the mornings. My sweet hubby has arranged for a cleaning company to come in every two weeks so that has been such a nice treat!

The kiddos are getting so big! I just cannot believe Eva will be three on Saturday! She is coming out of her tantrum stage which is so very nice! She is so fun as we can have conversations with her now. She says the funniest things like when she talks about getting her hair did at the beauty shop lol. She is starting to get used to her Nursery Class at church and she loves a little girl in her class named Rylee. She has 3 imaginary friends now. Mina, her long time best friend. Chonney, her guy friend that looks crazy she says. Chong, is last but not least. This is her boyfriend that is going to take her to the temple lol. This Saturday is her Family Birthday party when she will be three. Next weekend she is going to have a Candyland Bday party where all of her friends are invited to which will be a blast (hopefully). I will so have to do another blog post just for that :)

Parker (Macho P)
Still on the move. Not much has changed with Parker. He is still as active as ever. He hasn't quite figured out that he is not the only person in the world. He tramples over everyone to get where he wants to go, and he likes to steal anything he can from his siblings. He does take time out to give loves. He will go to anyone and just cuddles right on. He is the most clingy of the bunch and very scared of unknown places. At his last appt the doctor said he was doing great and weighed in at 20 pounds.

Preston (Junior - pronounce Junia)
Doing very well. Still the hoss of the bunch. Weighing in at 24 pounds! He is 4 pounds bigger than Parker and Madelyn and 7 pounds bigger than Dahlia! He is walking now and loves to play with anything ball. He still looks spitting image of Trever. He is such a honey and so docile. He never is mean to his siblings, just such a honey. He is pretty independent and easy going. Tomorrow he is going in for an MRI of the Brain. He is like 25th% on the growth charts for height and weight which is phenomenal given his preemie- hood, but he is well over 90% for head circumference (very smart if you ask me). If you remember he is the one that had brain bleeds so the doctor wants to make sure there is no swelling or anything. I will keep you all posted on the results of that.

Madelyn (Madelee)
So much fun! She is so chill. She seriously sits on the couch all day with her silk blankie. She is still very silly. She just loves livin' life! She is starting to get a little attitude if someone (namely Parker) gets on her nerves. She has learned the art of throwing temper tantrums. She still tries to put any and everything in her mouth. At her last doctor appt, the doc was really impressed with her and said she didnt have to come back until she is two. She weighs in at 20 Pounds. She is a mommas girl which of course I love!

Dahlia (Dahlia Bear)
For my sweet sweet Dahlia. She is growing in personality more and more everyday. She is getting weekly therapy which has helped her to crawl and pull up on things. She has mastered the art of copycating which is a great developmental sign. She works on building her muscles by climbing the stairs (with supervision of course) so she is getting stronger from that and other physical therapy excersises.

So the big news.... Last week Dahlia had a Cardiologist appt. The did an ECG and Ultrasound of her heart. She has a hole between the two upper chambers of her heart, which we have known about. But, at this appointment, they discovered that the hole is really affecting her breathing and possibly her development. Also, we learned that she has a chest deformity wear her ribcage is very small and pulls in on the sides. She only weighs 17 pounds at 18.5 months so they are very concerned about that. The doctor has put her on supplements to help her gain more weight. So, the cardiologist is contemplating doing open heart surgery on her now versus doing a catheter surgery when she is 5 or 6. Honestly, he did seem very concerned about how the ECG and ultrasound looked which worries me. So he is taking her file to Conference. This is a conference of 12 surgeons who will look at her complete history and files and determine whether the benefits outweigh the risks of doing the open heart surgery now versus waiting. So, once again, we are asking for alot of prayers that if she has to do this, that she will make it through this very hard surgery. I know that if she makes it, it will be a very long and difficult recovery so I am very very scared............
